Quality Technician

Novi, Michigan
Support incoming inspection, material flow, SAP, CMM part movement, 1-2 hrs per day. ESD inspection, carts, tables, equipment, verify small portion of PF daily, 30 mins per day. Final Inspection, check parts as needed 1-2 hrs per day. Support/review process, SMT, Final Assembly, Speaker side, “watch process” 1-2 hrs per day. Customer specific document requirements, monitoring EPNS, .5- 1 hr per day. Bartector, part verification, sampling, 10%, 1-2hrs per day Meetings, Quality Issues, support Corrective Action process- .5 – 1 hr per day. Roughly 5.5 – 9 hours work to be done per day, improves “visibility” of quality staff, reduces reliance on QE to handle floor issues
The ideal candidate would be either a college student majoring in electrical engineering, or someone with basic manufacturing assembly experience with a little bit of technical aptitude. This would include the ability to do measuring, inspections, ability to read drawings, understand tolerances. Hopefully someone with either quality control or a quality technician background. They will work with measurement devices including calipers, micrometers and multimeters
