Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, Review and Order Hardware and Raw Materials
Transmit releases weekly to the suppliers via Supply Web.
Evaluate all material usages, identify possible improvements and implement those improvements.
Label and identify sufficient areas for material storage and order to within the limits of the space allotted.
Continuously improve material ordering and inventory control processes.
All other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED required
One year related experience in manufacturing purchasing required
Good communication skills (verbal & written)
Good problem solving, planning and organizational Skills
Participate in Inventory control and auditing process
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Walking / standing / sitting for minimum of 8 hours per day.
Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to climb stairs
Must be able to work overtime, weekends and/or alternate shifts as required.
Must be able to travel from time to time including overnight, as required.
