Corporate Affairs - Temporary Role

The Corporate Affairs Intern is responsible for managing the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in addition to supporting the Corporate Affairs and Communications team in their many projects. This position will provide exposure to Public Relations, Digital Communications and Internal Communications in addition to its CSR efforts. The internship provides valuable experience in several communication areas and the opportunity to learn from a professional team of diverse backgrounds and talents. This role will have no direct reports. Job Responsibilities: • Collect inputs from our Sustainability Council for our biennial Sustainability Report and support development of the interactive microsite. • Provide organizational support through the continuing development of our global cause initiative and the coordination of specific site activities across the U.S. and abroad. • Support efforts to keep global employees informed and engaged in our CSR efforts through written communications, videos and intranet pages • Assist internal and external communications efforts through updating external websites and supporting pages and/or microsites as needed. • Enhance our social media efforts through conducting research, trend analysis and drafting schedules for social media posts • Assist with annual CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) submission, collecting data from our various internal subject matter experts on areas such as Supply Chain and Environmental Impact, coordinating with our agency and managing deadlines. • Research and help identify stories for internal and external use • Event coordination and management
 
Skilled with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Demonstrated writing ability Strong organizational skills Advanced user knowledge of Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+
 
Graduate student majoring in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, CSR or related field
