Project Manager- Consumer Electronics Show

Job Responsibilities • Drive successful delivery of key Consumer Electronics Show (CES) technology demonstrations for 2016 Consumer Electronics show in January 2016. • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules. • Coordinate multi-functional activities to ensure project completes on time. • Attend/run weekly project meetings • Resolve issues and conflicts in the project as they arise • Report project status on a regular cadence • Escalate key issues to management for timely resolution • Manage the projects using MS Project schedule to completion for the January 2016 CES show. • Provide status reports to management • Ability to work and manage project related tasks with the team members from Mechanical Engineers, Industrial design Engineers, fabrication team, Acoustic and other system engineers, marketing to help with management of preparing the demo cars for the show. • Remove any obstacles for the team members. • Order necessary parts for the project. • Established PO as necessary for suppliers. • Ability to manage multiple CES projects • Ability to work with marketing and marketing supplier(s) • Work with Fleet management to organize any demo car transportation needs to Los Vegas and back. • Work with lead CES organizer and participate in meetings


Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical discipline required. MBA and/or PMP certification preferred. Additional experience can be substituted for education. • Minimum of 5 years related experience in sales, project management, and/or engineering. Must have strong strategic, analytical, and project planning skills. Ability to drive action through influence is critical. Project management and/or product development experience in the Automotive Electronics and Audio Systems desired. Should have some knowledge if hardware and software development (although this is not an engineering role). • English, spoken and written. • Certifications: Project Management Professional or equivalent preferred.
