Salesforce Business Analyst

The Salesforce Business Analyst will be a key member of the Commercial Services team. This person will be responsible for development, implementation, and support of our existing Salesforce tool.
• Work collaboratively with Key Business Users, IT, and other stakeholders to establish best practices and system change options and to ensure functionality meets business needs
• Work directly with users to take an idea and turn it into a workable solution. Document these as concise requirements
• Analyze impact of changes on our existing implementation for review with Development Leads to ensure compatibility with existing functionality
• Develop new functionality (custom objects, workflow rules, VisualForce pages, etc.) leveraging all the standard Force.com platform features
• Test new functionality (unit test or QA other admin/dev. work)
• Participate in Org. clean-up activities with team (analyze use of custom fields, etc. and build plan to remove, convert S-controls to Apex)
• Troubleshoot and provide end-user support
• Create, maintain and update Reports & Dashboards based on user requirements
• Work to establish terms of Change Management, Bug/Enhancement Tracking, Sandbox use and deployments that match the agility of changes required by the business
• Concisely document Salesforce related processes. Make suggestions on best practices in these areas based on experience elsewhere.
• Make suggestions as to how we can replace existing complexity with updated SF features (Process Builder, approval process, quoting, forecasting, etc.)
• Be a self-starter to proactively take a look at our Organization and see how we are using SF
• Execute on configuration changes driven by the business. Ensure all changes are reviewed by Commercial Committee and deployed and approved via the Change Management process
• Testing & Quality: Test new functionality and coordinate user acceptance testing efforts
• End User Support & Problem Solver: Trouble-shooter, problem solver and provide end-user support
• Manage Data Integration: Upload data via Data Loader
• The ability to leverage the SF Community to find answers and better ways to do things and present those ideas to Senior Management
• Ability to develop training materials and conduct training workshops for business users

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's/University Degree - Sales related degree preferred
• 3-5 years experience
• 3+ years hands-on experience in developing and deploying Salesforce solutions
• Ability to meet a travel requirement of 30% minimum
• Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of SAP
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Knowledge, Chatter and understanding web services API
• Master's/Graduate Degree
• Sales and Marketing experience
• Combination of ADM 201, ADM 301 and DEV 401 Certification
• Knowledge of ACM and Cement business
• Cloud and Service Cloud certification a plus
• Strong technical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective problem solving skills
• Project Management Skill an advantage
• Strong Analytical skills to respond to requested changes and identify customizations
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
