Manager, Social Marketplace

As a Marketplace Manager you will be responsible for creating, monitoring, optimizing, and reporting on our paid social media campaigns. Working with client strategists, you will provide campaign management on our active buys. The Marketplace Manager must have worked with multiple API platforms, have an affinity for data, and the ability to think on his or her feet.
• Manage buys from set-up to keyword selection to targeting buckets to optimization to reporting. Combine data analysis and client feedback to configure, operate and optimize campaigns to meet client objectives.
• Determine set-up, including testing methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization requirements, for ensuring full impact and efficiency of each campaign.
• Lead the monitoring and reporting of campaign performance and proactively communicate any issues to internal team and client, when necessary
• Provide active voice in communication optimization strategies, proactively communicating challenges and opportunities
• Work with PMD partners to improve dashboard and product to better serve our clients’ goals
• Assisting strategist with campaign management for all buys
• Use data during and post-campaign to optimize and draw greater conclusions about clients’ business
• Understand the pros and cons of multiple API platforms, and maintain a line of contact with PMDs looking to enter the self-serve market
• Help strategists communicate campaign success metrics to clients
• Work in tandem with client teams to draw greater learnings from social campaign actions
• Participate in overall client social strategy development in order to deeply understand the role marketplace media plays in larger media objectives
• Potential to ultimately manage direct client strategy responsibilities based upon bandwidth and demonstrated aptitude

Desired Skills & Experience

• 1 - 3 years experience in online advertising
• 1 - 3 years experience in full-cycle social media campaign management
• Experience working at a media agency
• Must be proficient combining data analysis and feedback to configure, operate and optimize online advertising campaigns
• Hands-on experience in online advertising environments and social media campaign management - having managed at least ten (10) paid social buys (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
• Demonstrated verbal communication skills, monitoring and reporting campaign performance, and communicating challenges and opportunities across involved teams
• Experience with Power Editor, Kenshoo Social, Twitter Ads API is preferred
• Strong analytical skills and comfortable with data
• Attention to detail, and time management skills to actively monitor campaigns
• Extensive Excel experience
• Strong client-facing voice
• Ability to quickly learn new services and dashboards
• Comfortable distilling data into client learnings
